I think you probably will begin to feel better. Puranol, for those who don't know, is a colon cleanse product.
When Tom and I did our colon cleanse, we used Dr. Natura, but I'd think the same sort of thing might happen.
If your colon were stopped up with waste, taking things to get it moving again can cause a sort of a backup like a dam about to burst.
I've had that type of reaction when taking a simple product called Colon Activator from Dr. Jon Barron. Of course probably not nearly severe, but I'm guessing it's the same sort of reaction.
Did you tell your doctor you were doing the colon cleanse?
As far as the alcohol, he's probably thinking your liver might be affected and that's why he wants you to lay off the drinking.
And the lipase is a test that often indicates pancreas malfuntion.
Tom got sick for about three days while we were doing the colon cleanse. He was nauseous, and had a severe stomach ache. It was during a trip we took to San Francisco, and it started while we were visiting the aquarium about an hour's drive outside of town.
It was so pronounced that he thought he had food poisoning. He was so weak he could hardly walk, and I had to drive us back to our hotel.
He laid in the bed for three days, and was very ill. But after three days he passed one of those ugly, rubber tire looking things you see on the Dr. Natura site and he was fine afterwards.
Because of his reaction, I would think you might have the same type of obstruction in the colon that needs to come out. Or maybe you did have one.
Are you beginning to feel better? If you're not, you do need to see the doctor again of course.
As far as the drinking, if you are feeling better after doing the colon cleanse, you should probably consider working on the liver cleanse.
Either do the liver cleanse diet, or try the liver flush (the one day thing with the epsom salts.) That one can make you feel a lot better after doing it a few times.
One thing, though, don't do it if you haven't gotten better after the colon cleanse. You may have problems I know nothing about.
