Eating your way to excellence

We all know the popular saying " you wear your attitude " & similarly "you are what you eat". Your eating habits create a remarkable effect on your physical & mental personality .

Food is the fuel which you put in your body. Your body/body parts shapes up & performs according to the kind of fuel you put in . It works on the same principle as you car/vehicle works. Our body is also a machine, only of a much higher order/technology. If the quality of gasoline is bad, over a period of time not only your car engine develops problems, but the other parts of the car also gets effected.

By transforming diet one can not only reshape his/her body but also make a perceptible impact on his/her energy level & overall vitality & personality .

In ancient India it was believed that mental clarity & toughness were directly related to the kind of diet you take. That is why in the methods of YOGA it is suggest that the first thing one needs to do is set his/her eating habits right.

Incorrect diet, specially junk foods adds a lot of toxins to the body which gets deposited in different body part/organs & slowly reduces its performance. Animal flesh (be it beef , goat,chicken, fish) though very popular food all over the world ,has been found to have high percentage of toxins .

A diet rich in vegetables, grains & fruits is truly what nature intended for us(the humans) to have. The design of our teeth & intestine proves this.

To properly cleanse your system & to ensure that it is detoxified one must make certain that ones diet consists of at least 70 percent of high water content foods(fruits & vegetables). To ensure optimum utilization of your fuel, you must eat according to the natural Cycles which occur in your body. the cycles are as follows :-
Morning/welcoming cycle: 8 p.m ( preferably take lot of fruits, which gets digested.

Absorbtion cycle : 8a.m to 4 p.m - . foods are absorbed in blood & used (Afternoon meals :-70% of your diet should be preferably be vegetable, grains & fruits
removalcycle :4am to noon - (waste is eliminated)- preferably do not eat anything after 8p.m

Recognize each cycle & allow each cycle to be most effective. The body functions best when supplied with water from water rich fruits & vegetables, rather than plain water.

To ensure high water content, simply have a salad with all your meals.
