My Raw Food Detoxification

Living in Urban locality always comes with a price. Modern lifestyle, long working hours, irregular eating schedules live a major impact on our body, which in turn protests to support our lifestyle. This way what happens is that our body slowly starts giving up and we get prone to serious and frequent illness.

This is exactly what happened to me, due to my long working hours and bad eating. The junk that I often ate while I was working made me feel sick later on and I was a victim of severe infections which attacked me every now and then. That was when, my doctor suggested me to go on a raw food diet for a complete body detoxification.

According to him, my body had just given up and there was nothing that could be done other than this detoxification. I felt like giving it a try and finally started including raw foods in my daily diet. I would incorporate raw vegetables like carrots, radish, tomatoes, cabbage, and iceberg in my daily diet in a larger amount.

Apart from that I included raw leafy vegetables like spinach in form of smoothies, as they do taste excellent and when mixed with fruits provide healthy benefits. Raw vegetables like radish, spinach, cabbage, lettuce are known to be natural cleansers and they flush away the toxins present in the body, if consumed regularly.

Within few days, I noticed a positive change in me. My body felt lighter and energetic. I could feel fresh and happy. I lost an ample amount of weight which was again a positive sign for me. My body metabolism had increased and I could feel a radiant glow on my skin. My acne had disappeared and I felt younger.

I have got totally accustomed to such diet and now I make it a point of including raw foods in my daily diet for a healthy living.

Response from Cheryl Cholley:

Excellent post! I like to include a raw green smoothie in my diet each day. I use fruits and green veggies plus a few added nutrients to boost the power of this wonderful drink.

I know when I don't get any raw foods I feel sluggish and sick as well, so I know the feeling you described.
