Use Naturopathic Remedies to Help You with Your Detox Program

Naturopathic Remedies focus on natural healing. They are based on the premise of assisting the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Finding a Naturopath is as simple as picking up your local phone book.

In most communities you will find practitioners that will help you to find your body’s natural ability to heal. They don’t work on the mistaken idea that your body has a natural deficiency of drugs, they know that if you give your body the right type of food, exercise and some well thought out supplements, it can actually heal itself.

Although your naturopath will be able to help you get over the flu, or help you with healing of an injury, their best function is helping the whole body to heal. In this method, you will have less disease and you will be healthier overall.

Naturopathic medicine is a form of alternative health care, and can assist the patient in many ways. They know that each person is an individual, and there may be different things needed to get the same results. So if one person has hypertention, for example, it may be for a totally different reason than another person. Or it may be caused by more than one problem in each person.

Naturopathic remedies and weight loss

My most notable example is the issue of my weight. My naturopath was helping me with chelation therapy, which I’ll tell you about another time. When we had finished with the discussion about chelation therapy, I mentioned that my weight was a big problem for me.

He proceeded to take my temperature and explained to me that most people that have problems losing weight have a problem with their thyroid. So he asked me to take my temperature several times a day for a couple of weeks, and then to return. In the meantime, he gave me some naturopathic remedies to help with my thyroid and more medicine to help detox my liver, my bladder and my kidneys.

Although I have not lost all the weight I needed to lose, in two months I lost about 20 pounds by simply taking some pills and drops that he recommended. I didn’t change my diet, or anything else that I was doing, so the entire 20 pounds was directly related to the medicine he gave me.

There are many things Naturopathic medicine can do for you, including providing:

  • Naturopathic remedies
  • chelation therapy
  • lymph massage
  • intravenous vitamin supplements
  • infrared sauna treatments
  • ionic foot bath
  • or any number of other methods.

If you’re sick and tired of going to your physician and being given a prescription that will supposedly help with a problem, but you realize that the medicine will not actually cure you but only cause you to continue to take more medication, now is the time to turn to naturopathic remedies.

Take a look at every doctor’s visit you’ve been to in the past several years. Did the doctor actually give you something to cure you, or something you’d have to keep on taking to remain well?

What about your blood pressure medication? Do you take that stuff? I was given blood pressure medication and the doctor told me I’d have to take it the rest of my life. Surprise! I don’t need it any more.

Those drops the ND gave me for my kidneys, that I mentioned above, remember those? I used to have to get up every hour and a half during the night to visit the bathroom. No more. Two months of taking a few drops several times a day and my kidneys are clean and functioning very well.

This site speaks of many methods of detoxing your body, and many of them revolve around items a naturopath can help you with. Don’t be afraid to visit a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) to help you with your detox. Many of the problems I used to have could have been improved much easier if I had visited an ND and used naturopathic remedies instead of the methods I used. Just look one up in your area and give it a try, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how well his or her methods work for you.
